Our charter at Queensland Events is to secure and invest in major world-class events and to nurture the development and growth of regional events, in order to deliver economic and social benefits state-wide.

Under contract with event organisers, Queensland Events proudly supports a strong portfolio of major event investments. Our investments are focused on both one-off and recurring national and international events that are viable and financially sound, and have the potential to attract commercial investment; sponsorship; publicity and profile for Queensland and its destinations; and strong participation and support.

We are committed to offering more than just funds. Strategic partnerships are often more valuable to ensure future success and growth.

We also expect a commitment from event organisers to meet and exceed targets with key performance indicators incorporated into every contract.
